American music producer Paul Loeb began his career in the music industry by DJing at fraternity parties.

It wasn’t long before Paul realised people would pay good money for him to DJ.

“People would pay me money to party and play music, combining my two passions of music and business," Paul says.

A year into DJing, Paul picked up production and would go on to study audio engineering after graduating from USC. He is now a Pro Tools Certified Expert and makes his own music, while also professionally mixing and mastering music for others.

When asked if he finds it easier creating a song from scratch or doing a mashup he says it’s “way easier doing a mashup.”

Inspiration comes in different spouts for Paul, saying he sometimes hears a certain beat in his head that he must create.

“I’m not very good at writing lyrics, but sometimes I hear a certain beat in my head that I must create, or I try to replicate something else that I heard out at a club or festival. I come up with some of my best ideas in the shower,” Paul laughs.

Paul says ‘Aziz Ansari: Is It A Banger?’ is one of his strongest pieces. Go HERE for a free download.
